Nursing your baby is better than any other method of helping your body make more milk.  However there are many instances that new mothers cannot produce the adequate amount of breast milk due to many reasons. Here are a few things that you can add to your diet to help you improve the production of milk for your baby.

  1. Fenugreek


Fenugreek seed is a common herb for increasing milk production. Used around the world in cooking and baking, fenugreek is a good source of protein, iron, vitamin C and more.

Eating oats can help to increase milk supply. Oats are full of antibiotic and anti-inflammatory substances, supporting the immune system. It also impacts the milk producing hormones. So add a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast or bake some oatmeal cookies and enjoy this simple addition to your diet.
